My name is Gary Addicott, I make art under the pen name "The Schizo Kid." This is an attempt to reclaim the negativity surrounding my own diagnosis. I am a 40 year old musician, visual artist, writer and Jewellery maker from Cape Breton.
I have been Making Art and Playing music from an early age. I feel like expressing myself, even in the most challenging parts of my existence is the only way I know how to live.
